After seeing a need for producer and artist management in his hometown Memphis, TN, Kadeem Phillips founded PowerHouse Management, a full service management company. But even after attending Fisk University, and living in Nashville for many years, he hadn’t been able to break through into the Country Music industry. He already had a ton of success as a manager in other genres, most notably managing renowned and Grammy Nominated producer HitKidd, but since the program he has now signed country duo The Kentucky Gentlemen.  Kadeem also helped launch a monthly performance opportunity specifically for country artists of color. While in the program, we also helped him secure speaking opportunities, including a Keynote at the Music Business Association / Music Ally NY:LON conference in the UK.
